The Science of Visual Aesthetics:
Research indicates that exposure to
visually appealing environments can significantly
enhance mood and cognitive function.
Give your eyes some depth to ponder.
After researching human depth perception,
I came to theorize that since humans do have depth perception in
2d images, it is logical to have user interfaces with
field depth. When we look at a monocolor surface, we are
staring into a wall, but when there is depth info,
we feel refreshed. our attantion feels more expansive.
The human brain is wired to respond
positively to natural beauty,
which can lead to increased creativity,
improved focus, and reduced stress levels.
By replacing stark, monochromatic screens
with vibrant, 2D images of captivating places,
our app aims to harness this potential
for cognitive enhancement.
